Our Eagle Scouts

Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scout program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). A Scout who attains this rank is called an Eagle Scout or Eagle. Since its introduction in 1911, the Eagle Scout rank has been earned by more than two million young men. However, this number is only a small fraction of the total Boy Scout population since 1911. Only about 5% of all Boy Scouts attain the prestigious Eagle Rank.

Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges and demonstrating Scout Spirit through the Boy Scout Oath and Law, service, and leadership. This includes an extensive service project that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages. Eagle Scouts are presented with a medal and a badge that visibly recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of the Scout. Additional recognition can be earned through Eagle Palms, awarded for completing additional tenure, leadership, and merit badge requirements.

Needless to say, this is a tremendous honor to achieve this rank, and only a small number of boys in any given Troop earn this impressive rank during the year. An average Troop of 30 boys may only have one boy per year attain Eagle. And there may be years where an average Troop have no scouts attain Eagle Rank.

Presented below are those Troop 273 Scouts who have attained the renowned Eagle rank. The year next to the name, when available, indicates the year of the Eagle Board of Review. This is the complete list of Eagle Scouts from Troop 273. Congratulations to all of you on your impressive achievement!
